Past Events
Our annual Golf tournament was held at Coyote Creek in Surrey, and it was a great success! We raised $7000, thanks to the overwhelming support of our sponsors, donors, participants and of course our volunteers! Thank you to Noreen Smith for donating her 50/50 winnings back, and thank you once again to everyone for your support!
Our annual poker tournament was so much fun as always and a big thanks to Mike Faulkner, our 1st place winner who donated 100% of his winnings back to BC Children's Hospital!
Our annual Regular Season 2008/2009 Hockey Pool was a huge success, thanks to all who participated, and a big thanks to our first place winner, Rob McCombie who donated all of his winnings back to us!
Our final Dance was also a huge success, this event is what started Friends of Oncology Kids, and we are all sad to see it go. Thanks to everyone who has contributed countless hours of their time over the years to help make the event as successful as it was. Without all of you, this organization would never be as successful as it is today. You are all contributing factors to the $175,000+ amount that has been raised to date for BC Children's Hospital. An extra special thanks to Laurie and Kevin Jewell who started and organized it all! Also, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed prizes over the years, we appreciate all of you so much!
